PUBLIC SAFETY COMPLEX APPARATUS DOOR REPLACEMENT

The Work consists of removal and replacement of ten (10) apparatus garage bay doors, lift operators, tracks, and associated materials at the Public Safety Complex and all work incidental thereto, in accordance with the Specifications and conceptual plans attached hereto.

Specifications and bid forms may be obtained online on the Town of Sturbridge website, https://www.sturbridge.gov/bids. The project site is NOT open to the public, located at 346 Main Street, Sturbridge, MA. Pre-Bid Conference and Site Visit will be held at the Public Safety Complex located at 346 Main Street, on June 9, 2020. It is recommended but not required that all prospective bidders have a representative in attendance.

SPECIAL NOTICE Site Visit Requirements: All interested parties must pre-register with Robyn Chrabascz, Facilities Coordinator, via email request at rchrabascz@sturbridge.gov. Due to social distancing requirements, the Town expects to schedule times for small groups to walk the project area. Please arrive at your scheduled time if one is assigned. Site visits are only for walking the site, and no information or questions will be introduced that is not in the bid documents or any addenda issued.

Bids will be opened in the Sturbridge Town Hall, Veteran’s Memorial Hall, Second Floor at 308 Main Street by the Office of the Town Administrator on Thursday, June 18, 2020, at 10:30 a.m. Virtual bid opening instructions will be issued in an addendum. Each Bid must be accompanied by a bid security consisting of a BID BOND, CASH, or, CERTIFIED CHECK issued by a responsible bank or trust company in the amount of 5% of the bid price.
