501 Main Street
Proposed Municipal Parking Lot
On January 27, 2020 at Special Town Meeting, the Town passed Article 45 for the 'Purchase of 501 Main Street for the Development of a Public Parking Lot.' At the same meeting, Article 46 for 'Design of a Public Parking Lot at 501 Main Street' was also passed.
In 2020, the Town hired the engineering firm CHA to design the parking lot. The project was submitted and approved by the Conservation Commission and the Planning Board.
The project is planned for bidding and construction in 2023.
