Common Victualler License

Under Massachusetts State Law Ch. 140, §§ 2-9, every food service establishment in the Town of Sturbridge with the capabilities for cooking, preparing, and serving food and which provides seating for the immediate consumption therein, is required to have a Common Victualler License.

A Common Victualler License is annual and must be renewed every year. The cost for a annual license is $40 paid at the time of approval.

Once your application is recieved you will be notified when it will go before the Board of Selectmen, once approved you will receive your license either by mail or pick up from the Board of Selectmen Office.
