Usage Alerts

On the attachments below you can find information regarding Water Usage Concerns for the current meter reading period.  There are two tables:

• Water Usage Alert - 24-hr Increasing Usage (water meter usage increased every hour for 24-hr immediately prior to reading date)
• Water Usage Alert - High Consumption Audit (based on historical average daily usage on the account)

If you are on one of these list, please follow the guidance provided in the Information on the Water Usage Alert and What to do if you think you have a leak attachment below.  Being on one or both of these lists indicates there is a usual reading associated with your account. 

After following the guidance document in the link below (Information on the Water Usage Alert and What to do if you think you have a leak) if you still have concerns, please send an email to usageconcerns@sturbridge.gov with your questions, account address, account number, email address and phone number.  A Town employee will reach out with a reply or to get more information. Email is the best way to reach out to us to allow the correct department answer and address your questions and concerns.
