The Town of Sturbridge, acting through its Board of Selectmen, is seeking proposals from qualified Respondents to purchase or lease and redevelop the parcel of land, with the former Fire Station Building thereon, located at 8 Brookfield Road, Sturbridge, MA (the “Property”). Creative and capable Respondents are invited to submit a proposal that will provide information on the Respondent’s development expertise, qualifications, and financial strategies to advance a successful redevelopment initiative. The potential for successful redevelopment is determined by measures such as stimulation of private investment, higher assessed valuation and property tax revenues, expansion of employment opportunities, and improvement in quality of life for residents.
