Summary of June Business Breakfast
On June 12th the Holiday Inn Express in Sturbridge hosted the quarterly Sturbridge Business Breakfast. It was a unique event because the speaker was none other than local hero Dick Hoyt of Team Hoyt fame. He came to share his inspiring story his son Rick Hoyt, the journey they have taken over the last few decades, and what they have accomplished in their quest to help people with disabilities achieve their dreams and overcome adversity, particularly in sports.
Mr. Hoyt also came to show his support for the upcoming Rick Hoyt Sturbridge Half Marathon, a race dedicated to our local hero and Sturbridge resident, Rick Hoyt. The half-marathon is coming up on September 9th and race registration is now open. You can read more about the and by clicking here.
In addition to Mr. Hoyt's talk, the Economic Development and Tourism Coordinator provided an update from the Town which included discussions on:
