A Sturbridge Business Class
Town of Sturbridge Logo

Whether you are a new business in Town or have been here for decades, signs are an important part of your business’s marketing image. Over the years the Town has developed and maintained sign bylaws that oversee sign implementation throughout the community and during that time those bylaws have evolved to better serve your needs as businesses. As signs are such a vital part of your business, the Town wants to make sure that our bylaws are clear and understood by all.

To help with this, the Town is offering a business class on our sign bylaws this February 22nd starting at 8:30am in the Town Hall. If you are unable to attend the class that is fine as we will be recording the class and making the video available online.

The class will be taught by our Town Planner Jean Bubon, AICP. Ms. Bubon will talk about several items that include but are not limited to:

  • An overview of the bylaw and an explanation of how it applies to different types of businesses
  • The changes that have been made to the bylaws
  • The new blanket approval for "A" Frames in the same color scheme as the new Town Signs (see above picture)

There will also be plenty of time at the end for questions. This class is free to all businesses and light refreshments will be served.
