Emergency Preparedness

With recent major weather events including a severe heat wave and tornados on Cape Cod, now is a good time to review your business's emergency plans. Did you know that that 40% of businesses that are negatively affected by a disaster never reopen? Knowing this the Town of Sturbridge wants to ensure that all of its businesses are resilient and prepared for any eventuality. This is why the town has gathered together some important resources for businesses from the federal government, the Red Cross, and other emergency preparedness partners.

To view some of the various resources available to you, please go to our town's emergency preparedness page for businesses by clicking here or by contacting the Economic Development and Tourism Coordinator for more information.
