Property Taxes Due - May 1st
The Finance Department has sent out property tax bills to all businesses in town. Said bills are due by May 1st. If you have questions concerning your bill please contact the Finance Department at 508.347.2509 before May 1st for assistance. Furthermore if you are having difficulty paying your tax bill please contact the Finance Department, again before May 1st, to discuss arranging a monthly payment plan.
Route 15 / Haynes Street Charrette - 29 April
The Town of Sturbridge will host a charrette to examine potential changes to the zoning bylaws for the Route 15/Haynes Street corridor (from the intersection with 131 to the Exit 1 ramp for Route 84 south). The town invites all property owners, residents and other interested parties to join the discussion on 29 April 2019 from 6:30pm – 8:30pm at the Publick House, 277 Main Street in Sturbridge. Sturbridge Business Breakfast - Comfort Inn & Suites
On March 12th the town held its, now twice annual, business breakfast this time at the Sturbridge Comfort Inn and Suites. We would like to publicly thank the Comfort Inn and its management for hosting us and for all that they do for the town. For those who could not attend, we had some excellent conversations about marketing Sturbridge in the coming year and how we can better coordinate with our partners at the regional level with Discover Central Massachusetts. Sign Inventory
The town will be conducting an inventory of all external commercial and industrial signs in Sturbridge this spring. You can view the initial announcement for this inventory by clicking here. Annual Town Meeting - June 3rd
The 2019 Annual Town Meeting (ATM) is coming up in a little over two months. The ATM occurs the first Monday of June every year. Over the next two months there will be meetings and discussions on the town budget as well as the various warrant articles that will be presented at that meeting. Please take a look at the town meeting calendar to be aware of any and all meetings regarding the upcoming ATM.

New Town Administrator - Jeffery Bridges
